Microsoft Teams New Search Result Page

A new search results experience in Teams for Desktop clients will be rolled out in early November to make finding messages, people, answers, and files faster and more intuitive. The new search results page promises to deliver “better context, faster results, improved filtering capabilities with AI-powered relevance based on the people and content you engage with most in Teams and other Microsoft 365 services.”

The new search results page divides search results in different categories, such as people, messages, and files, and makes much better use of available screen space.

The Way of The Dog

Our Core Values are The Way of The Dog, and we live by these to help make your life easy.

Our prime purpose in life is to help others, and if we can’t help them, at least don’t hurt them. The Way of The Dog can teach us a lot about how to live our purpose. Life is about having fun, loving others, doing what we can to help, showing we care and just generally having a good time and wagging our tails.

The Way of The Dog is to Be Worthy of Trust, Love Unconditionally, Keep Digging, and Wag Your Tail!
Bernard

Bernard, Head of Making Clients Happy, makes sure we uphold these values!

Upgrading To Windows 11

Windows 11 was rolled out earlier this month, and everyone already using Windows 10 can upgrade for free if their device is compatible. You can check if your current device is compatible by using the PC Health Check App

If you’re not in a hurry, the new Windows update will be pushed to your device in the upcoming months when Microsoft indicates the device is ready for the upgrade.  However, if you’re not wanting to wait, you do still have the option to manually download Windows 11 and see its new look and features.

How to Download Windows 11

Some users can download Windows 11 in the same way you’d get any new version of Windows. Just go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and select Check for Updates. If the update is available, you’ll see Feature Update to Windows 11. Then click Download and Install

However, the Windows 11 rollout will be slow, so it could be a few months until its available on your device. New PCs will get the upgrade first, and all compatible devices are expected to receive it by mid-2022, depending on device age and hardware.
